Guaranteed Fund Credit

Features of CGTMSE Loan

CGTMSE loans can be availed by the Micro and Small Enterprises, with any collateral or third party guarantee free credit facility.

CGTMSE for Banks (CGS I)

As per the MSMED Act, 2006, Commercial banks, Scheduled Urban Co-operative Banks, and Small Finance Banks are covered under the second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

CGTMSE for NBFC (CGS II)

Rural Banks, NBFCs, and New Age Fin-Tech NBFCs are eligible for accessing CGTMSE loans.

Sub-Debt Scheme

Promoters are offering 10% of the Sub-Debt amount as collateral security. CGTMSE cover is available for 90% of the total loan.

Third Party Guarantee

CGTMSE loans are available with third part guarantee, which means the guarantee is secured from one of the Member Lending Institutions that is in connection with credit facility.

CGTMSE Loan - Eligibility

New and existing MSEs involved in manufacturing activities, excluding Agriculture and Self Help Groups (SHGs), are eligible for CGTMSE loan. To be eligible for accessing the loan, the enterprises must have a minimum credit cap of Rs.200 lakh.

Maximum age of applicant at loan maturity: 60 years

Income

Minimum Net Monthly Income: Rs 25,000

Credit Rating

Applicant should have the bank specified credit score.

The main objective of the CGTMSE loan scheme is to offer credit facility to the promoters of the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs). The promoter can get access to the credit in the MSME as quasi equity or sub-debt.

New and existing MSEs that are involved in manufacturing activities, except Agriculture and Self Help Groups (SHGs), are eligible to avail of CGTMSE loan. To access loan under the scheme, the enterprises must have a minimum credit cap of Rs.200 lakh.

All the scheduled commercial banks are eligible for being Member Lending Institutions (MLIs).

The loan sanctioned under the CGTMSE scheme is valid for a maximum 10-years period from the date of availing the loan. The scheme is applicable to sub-debt category under CGSSD. The maximum amount of guarantee is Rs.20,000 crore.
